Park-Reeves Syringomyelia Research Consortium
The largest clinical study in the field of Chiari and syringomyelia is run by our team here at Washington University. More than half of the pediatric neurosurgeons across North America contribute to our research. Our mission is to identify the best treatments for children suffering from Chiari & syringomyelia, and to help these individuals enjoy their lives free of disability.
The Park-Reeves Syringomyelia Research Consortium now comprises 42 leading children’s hospitals and has enrolled >1200 patients. We have contributed many articles to the scientific literature and presented at numerous national/international scientific meetings.
